Thara Kalyan (Malayalam: താര കല്യാണ് ) is a Indian classical dancer and an Indian movie and television actor in Malayalam language. She has acted in main stream Malayalam films and television serials. [1]
She has acted in films such as Parankimala , Rose Guitarinaal , Thaskara Lahala , April Fool , Ring Tone , Puthiya Mukham , Thirakkatha, Rappakal , Stop Violence , Nizhalkkuthu and Perumazhakkalam. She has also acted in major television serials in Malayalam [2]
She is also a professional dancer in Bharathanatyam , Mohiniyattam , and Kuchipudi
Thara is the daughter of Subbalakshmi , one of the prominent senior supporting actresses in Malayalam film industry. [3] Her husband, Rajaram is also an actor, choreographer, editor and a bollywood dance trainer. [4]
