One Man Dog is singer-songwriter James Taylor's fourth album. Released in 1972, it features the hit "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight", which rose as high as number 14 on the Billboard charts on January 13, 1973.

One Man Dog was a concept album primarily recorded in Taylor's home studio.

The album is made up of 18 short pieces strung together. It climbed to number 4 on the Billboard Pop Albums charts.
