Geography
It is located very near to the city of Guwahati, Assam in Kamrup Metropolitan district.[2]
Location
National Highway 40 links Jorabat to Jowai via Shillong[3]. National Highway 37 passes through Jorabat and connects parts of upper Assam with Guwahati city[4]. Jorabat is divided into two parts former is in Meghalaya and latter is in Assam.
