Rey Francis J. Guevarra (born November 24, 1986) is Filipino basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. He currently plays for the San Miguel Beermen. Guevarra was selected by the Air21 Express third overall in the 2010 PBA draft. He is known for his great athleticism, and is one of the most athletic PBA players.
He also had a brief stint with the Smart Gilas national team under Serbian mentor Rajko Toroman.
Among hist batch, Rey Guevarra is considered as one of the most versatile rookies to enter in the PBA. He can shoot from downtown or in the perimeter and can drive fast to the basket as what he did during his collegiate days in Letran.
The FAFA Dunk
With 11 seconds left during the 3rd quarter of their game against the Alaska Aces, Guevarra went coast-to-coast for a facial slam dunk over Aces import Jason Forte.[1] Minutes after, he trended nationwide on Twitter.
