Block conflict

Sorry, I hadn't seen your message on the user's talk page prior to blocking the account. This is a user who has a history of socking to gain the upper hand in discussions and who is being actively deceptive on their user page. The chance that this is a revived sleeper account is just too high to let them continue to edit. I obviously would have discussed this with you first had I seen your message, so apologies for that.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:12, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, I quick skimmed warnings but on rereading got a stronger picture. I think I would still have held off but your indef is clearly a) within policy and b) within reason given the situation. They can always ask some other admins nicely to come back if they will agree to stop. No problem here, we're good. Thanks for the rapid CU on the issue! Thanks for that. I've left a follow-up note on the master's talk page explaining why they were blocked etc. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:23, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Abuse

Please stop accusing me of being that guy above when you have literally no proof. Thanks. 91.152.116.216 (talk) 21:52, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Abusive blocks

I'm filing an ARBCOM case right now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Georgeherbertwilliam (talkcontribs) 21:59, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My late post

I apologize for posting at the ANI after it was closed; it was inadvertent — I went to the page and hit "Edit" without scrolling down to that section first. It was accidental. --Tenebrae (talk) 01:06, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bishonen, please read my new response on the original discussion and comment there Thank you!

But since, you brought the discussion about my page here, I will comment:

This is not was I was doing.

And...after looking at the manner you display your personal content on your User's page, I am surprised you commented about mine in the first place!
And, I never wrote that I "singlehandedly popularised emoji"!! Read the text again: I wrote that I was one of the first to use pictograms on Twitter and YouTube.
It was back in 2009 and back then, they weren't called "Emoji". I was using Microsoft symbols and actually, the ones that we're displaying ( not all of them worked ) we're pretty simple and in black and white.
The reason why I wrote that I was one of the "1 of the first" is because I try not to draw hasty conclusions in anything situations and at the time, I had never seen anyone use them on social media.

Furthermore, even if I searched the Web at the time, to see who else was using them and although I found no prior trace of them, I could NOT come to the conclusion that I was the very First 1!

When I started using the symbols from Microsoft as a new visual social media communication tool in my publications, I called them Pictograms because I couldn't find any information on Google at the time in regards of to them being used on social media platforms. Nada=no info at the time.

They are know called Emoji and they are blooming with a lot of them being designed. I love them, still use and appreciate their beauty as they are so colourful in 2015.

In 2009, when I was using the black ones, I was hoping that pixels artists would create coloured ones, my wish was granted :-).

I can say that Twitter and Youtube was one of the first platforms to allow some of them to display on their platform.

You know how Twitter usually erases their Tweet search? Well type in Twitter search: "Pictograms" "Dunn4Good" and you will see one of my Tweet. However, today's colourful Emoji are now displaying, back then it was in black and white. I kept a snapshot file somewhere but it was 6 years ago.

Dunn4Good is a persona that I like to keep anonymous even though I use my real name.

Have a nice day!MobiDunn (talk) 19:15, 2 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re biting the newbies

I'm quite sorry to see you enable people who want to use Wikipedia to tell the world they are recognized by their peers as a leader and a pioneer, George. And that they as good as singlehandedly popularised emoji (!). Bishonen | talk 11:07, 1 May 2015 (UTC).[reply]
