Annangi is a village located in Maddipadu Mandal of Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, India with total 701 families residing. The Annangi village has population of 2243 of which 1100 are males while 1143 are females as per Population Census 2011.This village in located on the banks of Gundlakamma river.[1]

Description

The main occupation of annangi residents is agriculture.This village is famous for tobacco production.There are significant number of engineers,NRIs born in this village.

Religion

Majority of people in annangi are Hindus with small number of christians.This village has saibaba temple,sri ramanajaneya temple and temples of poleramma,goobalamma etc.
