I believe most editors use Incorrect English, the second most common is American English, followed by Indian English and British English. -- Arnd Bergmann
Support request with team editing experiment projectDear tech ambassadors, instead of spamming the Village Pump of each Wikipedia about my tiny project proposal for researching team editing (see here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IdeaLab/Research_team_editing), I have decided to leave to your own discretion if the matter is relevant enough to inform a wider audience already. I would appreciate if you could appraise if the Wikipedia community you are more familiar with could have interest in testing group editing "on their own grounds" and with their own guidance. In a nutshell: it consists in editing pages as a group instead of as an individual. This social experiment might involve redefining some aspects of the workflow we are all used to, with the hope of creating a more friendly and collaborative environment since editing under a group umbrella creates less social exposure than traditional "individual editing". I send you this message also as a proof that the Inspire Campaign is already gearing up. As said I would appreciate of *you* just a comment on the talk page/endorsement of my project noting your general perception about the idea. Nothing else. Your contribution helps to shape the future! (which I hope it will be very bright, with colors, and Wikipedia everywhere) Regards from User:Micru on meta. Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical community. Generating Check-wiki againHi BGWhite, if you remember that maybe half a year ago you generated for me error lists similar to Check-Wikipedia project for a non-wmf wiki at wikiskripta.eu. I would like to kindly ask you to generate the whole list once again if you would have the time. The dump is available at http://www.wikiskripta.eu/WSdump2.gz Thank you in advance! --Wesalius (talk) 18:01, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
2015 Speedway World Cup pagesHi BGWhite, Can you please explain why you have marked the 2015 Speedway World Cup Final, 2015 Speedway World Cup Race-off and 2015 Speedway World Cup Event 2 pages for speedy deletion. Similar pages exist for every Speedway World Cup from 2001 to 2013, so why are these allowed if 2015 is not? This took a lot of time to produce and give individual scores for each round of the World Cup. The 2015 Speedway World Cup page is the overall page for the World Cup. Thank you! --Johnny2hats2 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 21:41, 15 June 2015 (UTC) Get well soon!
In November 2014 you made 7 reverts on this article including 5 within 24 hours. You then protected the page to keep your preferred version. There is no discussion on the talk page and the article never went to AfD. This doesn't look appropriate to me; can you explain further? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:08, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
Get Well SoonOh dear, just saw your update. Hope you feel better and Get Well Soon! From one Wikipedian to Another. Zhanzhao (talk) 23:30, 18 June 2015 (UTC) Get well soon!Dear Bgwhite, please get well soon. I have no one else to bother here. The sooner you stop saying unkind things about your mother-in-law, the sooner you'll recover. By the way, I talked with her over the phone. She had a broken claw. Poor thing. Anyway, I hope you like this painting, which I drew specifically for you, to make your page look even nicer. Thanks for your tidy-up of my recent updates to the HEMTT page. I clearly know more about trucks than I do Wiki editing... I am trying, and learning as I go, but thanks again for the 'little things' that make the page look so much better.
