Effective?

Assuming that the magnets do stay in the cow, they wouldn't attract any non-magnetic materials. Further, any magnetic materials they attract would become a large, potentially sharp mass resting in the cows stomach. Wouldn't this mass pose any irritation and puncture hazard to the animal? My exposure to farm life is somewhat limited, but wouldn't a better idea be to keep metal out of the feed and fields? Jarod (talk) 14:26, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
