Bugzy Malone (born December 20, 1990) is a grime MC from Manchester, England.[1] Bugzy Malone has been described as one of the key players instigating a "grime revival" moving the UK scene away from more commercially orientated music.[2]
Career
In early 2015, Bugzy Malone rose to prominence in the UK underground scene after sending for fellow MC Chip on BBC Radio 1Xtra.[3][4][5] To capitalise on his hype, Bugzy Malone released a war dub for Chip entitled Relegation Riddim as his first official single travelling to Chip's hometown of Tottenham to film the video for the song.[6][7][8]
On 24 July 2015, Bugzy Malone released his first EP Walk with Me which entered at number 8 on the UK Albums Chart.[9]
