The Story [So Far]
[edit]
Seven years ago in the world of Alakar, in the Kingdom of Sunvar, there was a visitor clothed in black that went to the local pub. The man in black asked the bartender for information on the scared Dragon Shrines of Alakar. The bartender thought this was some sort of joke and laughed at the very thought of somebody asking him so. The man in black did not take kindly to this offense and leveled the bar out of spite. The man in black, now engaged with the guards of Sunvar is killing soldier after soldier while he heads for Castle Sunvar.
Meanwhile the King of Sunvar is in mystery as to what all of the noise outside is about. The Sunvar Guard General storms into the royal throne room all in a panic. The General of Sunvar tells the king about the man in black and what he has done to the other guards as well for the local pub and the city. Before the king can react the man in black appears before the king. The man in black demands to be shown the way into the Dragon Shrine of Sunvar. The king, knowing that this man is a grave danger, does as the man wishes. The man in black soon after tells the king to remove himself and his followers, family, etc from the castle. The King of Sunvar and all of his men flee from Sunvar Castle to a small town to the Northwest.
Two years later, in the Kingdom of Kyon, the King of Kyon has summoned all of Kyon's warriors to the mess hall for an important announcement. It is there, Migus the Great Warrior of Kyon makes his speech about the man in black, known now as the "Wizzard". Migus the Great Warrior with him ending his speech, heads for his hometown of Makair to tell his wife about what is happening.
When Migus returns to his home in Makair, he first asks where their child is. (Throughout this part of the story, the child of Migus the great is known as "Our Child" because the player has yet to decide what gender, name, and class the Child of Migus is) The wife answers Migus and tells him that their child is out training for the day. Migus used to train like their child is, he knows that training can take up to an entire five days to complete, depending on the task given. And so Migus just tells the wife what is happening, and give his wife his lucky weapon. (The player obtains weapon this later in the game, it depends on which class the player chose) After which Migus heads off to start prepairing for the war.
One year later, the child of Migus gets a letter from the king. The letter reads
Deer Child of Migus the Great Warrior;
I regret to inform you the untimely death of Migus the Great; your father. As you have no doubtly seen on the TV. A frontal approach to this problem is not our solution. I want you to go speak with the mayor of your town A.S.A.P. The Mayor should point you in the right direction.,
-King Kyon
And so, The Child of Migus embarks on his/her adventure!

History
[edit]The original version of this game was going to be called; DJ's Adventure; Rebirth's Blade. This game would have followed in the footsteps of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and had a catchphrase of "An Island Hopping Adventure". On DJNINTENFREAK the original website, it was announced that DJ's Adventure: Rebirth's Blade was canceled due to the original files missing from the Hard Drive of DJ91990's personal computer.
A few months later, during the late spring of 2009, a few months after DJ's Adventure: Rebirth's Blade's cancellation, a new game was announced. DJ's Adventure Project; Songs of Legend.
The name later changed to Songs of Legends: Rebirth's Blade and a demo was soon released.
The first demo is consitered an alpha version in DJ91990's eyes as it features nothing changed but from the Menu Screen of RPGMAKER VX that haves a slightly different layout. (See Edited RPGMVX Menu)
Menu Layout
[edit]The slight modifycations to the RGSS2 MENU script has created, what DJ91990 likes to call the "Grouped Menu System"
It features the same controls as the original RPGMVX Menu screen with different functions. The Quest Points that the player has and tottal ammount of Quest Points possible is displayed above the current in-game money held. The "Status" "Skills" and "Equipment" options are grouped into a sub-menu called "Party->" the "->" in the menu indicates that the option leads to a sub-menu. Menu Layout in Detail
