Monaca is software tools and services solution for building and deploying HTML5 mobile hybrid apps.[1] Built on top of open source Apache Cordova [2] (formerly known as PhoneGap), Monaca provides a full-suite of resources including Cloud IDE, local development tools, debugger, and backend support.[3]
Overview
Monaca's Cloud-based IDE builds HTML5 hybrid mobile apps for iOS, Android, Windows and Chrome Apps using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.[4] Multi-platform app development utilises native language components and functionalities. Monaca is framework agnostic [5] and provides integration with Onsen UI and Ionic Framework for building user interface.[6]
