Henry Cooper

I feel that some mention of Ali's first fight with Henry Cooper should be included in this article. Ali was clearly the better fighter but he was letting the fight go on to make a decent show of it, rather than finishing Cooper early, and so underestimated Cooper. Cooper managed to land a very hard punch on Ali that knocked him down and it was only Angelo Dundee's quick and shrewd thinking that bought enough time for Ali to recover sufficiently for the next round and win the match. Without Dundee, this fight would/could have been an embarressing over-confidence blot on the Ali legend. I would add something myself, but the article seems to flow so well as it is, it is difficult to see where to put this in. To me this ranks up with the ropes incident in terms of Dundees unorthodox but brilliant handling of his fighters. WhizzBang 23:04, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dundee Tampering with ropes

Dundee has said in interviews he did tamper with the ropes but he was tightening them because he was worried about Muhammad falling out of the ring because it was elevated 6 feet in the air. Foreman has never said he was looking for an excuse and maintains to this day the ropes were loose and that he was drugged by Dick Saddler. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.77.165.103 (talk) 14:27, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Berbick fight - Dundee was there

Dundee traveled around the world with Ali, and he was the cornerman in all but three of Ali's fights (Tunney Hunsaker in 1960, Jimmy Ellis in 1971 and his final professional bout vs Trevor Berbick, where he deemed Ali unfit to fight).

As it can be seen on this video, Dundee was Alis cornerman against Trevor Berbick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piFRahs4dMc

So it change it.
