Temirgali Abildinovich Kuketaev (Russian: Темиргали Абильдинович Кукетаев (Кокетай теги)) is a Kazakh physicist. His name is also transliterated as Kuketayev and Koketaitegi.
He worked on his Candidate of Sciences degree in University of Tartu in Tartu,Estonia under the supervision of Tšeslav Luštšik in 1966–1970.
In 1972 he went to Karaganda State University to chair a newly created Solid States Physics department [1]. He held various positions at the university, and currently is still a professor and a member of the faculty.
