Talk:OpenMW
OpenMW is software that has been around for over 6 years[1] and doesn't fall under "A7: Article about a company, corporation, organization, or group, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject".
It's purpose is the re-implementation of the Morrowind game engine to allow Morrowind to be played on Linux, Mac and Windows using modern hardware. This is contrast to Skywind which is just a mod that recreates Morrowind inside of Skyrim.
One of the lead developers of OpenMW is also the lead developer of OpenAL-Soft.
OpenMW has been mentioned in the Bullet_(software) page and the List_of_game_engine_recreations and is worthy of being included as an article on wikipedia. Psi29a (talk) 15:54, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
The CorenSearchBot is in error, I cited from the FAQ itself. The moddb entry was copy & pasted from the OpenMW FAQ.
