Bishop Augusto Paolo Lojudice' (born in Rome, (1964-07-01)1 July 1964) is a Roman Catholic church leader. He was born both within the secular Province of Rome and the religious Diocese of Rome.

Education and sacerdotal ministry

Don Lojudice studied at Pontificio Seminario Maggiore and frequented Philosophy and Theology courses from 1983 to 1988 obtaining the Licence in Theology. He has been ordered presbyter on 6 May 1989 from cardinal [Ugo Poletti]. He has been parish vicar at S. Maria del Buon Consiglio (Rome) for three years then from 1992 to 1997 at San Vigilio (Rome). He has led for eight years since 2005 the Parish of Santa Maria del Redentore (Rome). He has been Padre Spirituale of Pontificio Seminario Maggiore from 2005 to 2014. Finally he was recently appointed in 2014 to lead the Parish of San Luca al Prenestino (Rome). [1]

Episcopalian ministry

On 6 March 2015, Don Augusto Paolo Lojudice was put forward as auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Rome and titular bishop of the Diocese of Alba Marittima by Pope Francis;[2] he received his episcopal ordination on 23 May 2015 from Cardinal Agostino Vallini, co-consecrant Bishops Romano Rossi, Paolo Schiavon.
