can You restore this statbyu in my personal space?--Kaiyr (talk) 08:10, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Responding to your request...

...from four years ago. Yes, I'm serious :) [4] Don't ask me how I got around to that talk page archive. XKCD had something about this once; you start somewhere on Wikipedia, and later you're at a totally disconnected place. Ah! here it is! Anyway, if you want to do NFC related work, there's always loads to do. It's thankless, full of insults, lack of respect, agony, a few hours in the pit of despair for each minute spent doing it, etc. You get the picture. But, some great places to start:

It is perhaps ironic that Δ/Betacommand still maintains those tools, despite having been banned from the project more than three years ago.

Of note: I've largely given up on NFCC enforcement, though I still occasionally dabble. The project doesn't really care about this stuff. There's an ever increasing amount of non-free content here (over half a million images now), and it shows no signs of slowing down. Most of the NFCC enforcers have long been shoved off the project or given up on it entirely. So, violations lay around forever. Example Draft:CAA Health & Dental Insurance has had an NFCC #9 violation for seven months now. This is hardly isolated. There used to be a time when people would dump album covers onto a discography and it would be removed within a day, if not within an hour. Now, they sit around for over a month; Gina G singles discography. And character lists? Oh the wars that were waged regarding those. People fought tooth and nail to retain per-character images instead of having a cast image at the top of the article. Of course now, they've won. It's fallen out of vogue to remove per-character images now. Example [5]. That's a two year old version of that article, and to this day it still has per-character images. The violations might be even older than that. I just went back two years.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
