I think it's worth mentioning that songwriter Al Hoffman's brother was a comedian and actor, appeared, his features somewhat distorted, his head in a glass bowl (or so it seemed) in the opening scenes of all the Inner Sanctum mysteries that Universal produced during the World War II years. Brother David never achieved the fame and success that his better known brother Al did but he was busy in films, television and probably other media for more than two decades.
