Quentão, which means "very hot" or "big hot one", is a hot Brazilian drink made of cachaça and spiceries. It is a typical drink on Festa Junina.

Recipe

Burn the sugar with the spiceries, ginger and the peals until it melts, pour the water and the cachaça. Let it boils in medium heat for about 20 minutes. Filter and serve in hot in mugs.
