Andy Field (born 21 June 1973) is professor for psychology at University of Sussex.

Field did his B.Sc. Psychology 1991–1994 at City University London and his D.Phil. at University of Sussex from 1994–1997. Since 2010 he is professor for Child Psychopathology at University of Sussex. Field is author of two textbooks about statistics, which both deal with software application of statistical theory in SPSS and R. For his book Discovering Statistics Using SPSS: and sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll he received the British Psychological Society Book Award in 2007.
