"So Excited" is the second single from Janet Jackson's ninth studio album, 20 Y.O.. The song has the rapper Khia's voice featured in it, and will be released by September 2006.[1] The song is a heavy dance track, which samples Herbie Hancock's "Rockit".[2] The song premiered on Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Radio on Atlanta radio station WVEE-FM. [3]

The video for the single is to be shot on August 21st and 22nd, 2006. Joseph Kahn will direct the video.[4]
