Commas around appositives

With regard to your comment at ANI that "nobody has ever shown anything about the commas being wrong", I suggest that you look at Apposition#Restrictive versus non-restrictive and, in particular, the second bulleted example in that section, comparing "the television show The Simpsons" with "American daytime drama One Life to Live", which you improperly added a comma to here.
