Fair use rationale for Image:TenYearAFLPatchPhoto.jpg

Image:TenYearAFLPatchPhoto.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Awesome team...

Ugh, someone edited the Vikings template to read the above statement. Someone please take care of it.98.220.58.62 (talk) 23:25, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Carol Channing didn't appear in Super Bowl halftime iv, she was only on vi

There has been confusion about Carol Channing's appearances on Super Bowl halftime shows. She appeared in Super Bowl VI but is often attributed to appearing in Super Bowl IV. The CBC has a video of the entire game including the complete halftime show. This CBC video is viewable at the link that was added to this topic by another user. I used the link as a source when I removed the mention of Carol Channing in the opening paragraph of the article. My link was denied and my edit was revoked as follows: "removing citation to video per second paragraph of Wikipedia:Verifiability#Copyright and plagiarism - Do not link to any source that violates the copyrights of others per contributors' rights and obligations..." The proof that Carol Channing was not part of Super Bowl iv is found by watching the complete video, which is available at this link which another user posted: [1] Since Carol Channing was not part of Super Bowl iv should I just delete this mention from the opening paragraph without citing a source since the source (which another user posted) has been declared a violation? Thank you for your help. @Zzyzx11:Jackygage (talk) 13:55, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
