Anthony William Brise (28 March 1952 in Erith, London – 29 November 1975 in Arkley, London) was a British racing driver from England. He won two of the three British Formula 3 Championships in 1973, sharing one (the Lombard North Central championship) with Richard Robarts.[1] He participated in 10 Formula One Grands Prix, and scored one championship point.

Formula One career

Brise made his Grand Prix debut on 27 April 1975 for Frank Williams Racing Cars but after one race switched to Embassy Hill run by former world champion driver Graham Hill, where he showed great potential. Later in 1975, Hill, Brise and four other members of the team were killed when the Embassy Hill plane, piloted by Hill, crashed at Arkley golf course in thick fog.
