Cleanup

I feel the hardware and software support sections ought to be removed, they largely lack citations and other container formats such as AVI, MP4 and Ogg do not contain these sections; it largely functions as advertising. Similarly the link to the CCCP article ought to also be removed.

I also question the presence of the SubStation Alpha link as supported subtitles and a/v codecs are not exhaustively listed on container pages. Luthair (talk) 04:50, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Metadata

Is there a tag-format for metadata supported by Matroska? For Director, Writer, actors, year, etc. Semsi Paco Virchow (talk) 12:08, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I found something here: matroska tag and matroska tag video example. But it seems a bit "hacky". I am searching for something like Vorbis comment but for matroska and Videos, and of course some program to do the tagging like say puddletag Semsi Paco Virchow (talk) 12:13, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to ogg
