In a Nick at Nite commerical he was proclaimed as "the hardest working man on television". He commented that he stopped counting his appearances after 500. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.164.202.130 (talk) 15:18, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Several movies? Even if William Schallert had never appeared on TV, he'd be remembered for dozens of screen roles. I'm particularly fond of The Man from Planet X, where he plays an unscrupulous scientist who beats the crap out of the alien, then cuts off his air supply. (The little bugger deserves it, by the way.) And then there's the libidinous dentist in Matinee. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 03:20, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Schallert may have done some voice over work and narration. I believe he's the voice / narrator of The Final Game, a sports film made to showcase basketball legend Bill Russell. The film was made during the 1966 NBA playoffs between the Boston Celtics and the Cincinnati Royals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jerjets11 (talkcontribs) 18:08, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shallert's wife died last year so the marriage ended then. (Google news for Leah Waggner.)--T. Anthony (talk) 07:49, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
