Malachi Richardson (born January 5, 1996) is an American basketball player. He plays college basketball for the Syracuse Orange.
Richardson attended Trenton Catholic Academy his freshman year, then spent his sophomore year at Roselle Catholic High School before returning to Trenton Catholic Academy for his junior and senior years. In his high school career ar Trenton Catholic Academy[1] Malachi scored a total 1245 points averaging 9.3 in his freshman, 19.2 points in his junior year and 18.7 in his senior year of highschool. At Roselle Catholic in his sophomore year Malachi would score 429 averaging 15.3 points a game, he would also win NJSIAA's Tournament of Champions for boys basketball.
As a freshman at Syracuse University, Richardson averaged 100.5 points, 2.1 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. After the season, he entered the 2016 NBA Draft, but did not sign with an agent allowing him to return to Syracuse if he chooses.[2][3]
