My name is Harish Aluru and I work for an MNC in India. Always been a travel ehtusiast, I travelled extensively inside and out of India. My hobbies include reading history among other things and this brought me into the Wikipedia community. Professionally I am a finance architect and spend my spare time in contributing to Wikipedia and trying to bring to the knowledge of people places and things that are otherwise left out unknown.
My hobbies include - Archaeology, science, new engineering concepts, History and I am an avid reader of ancient as well as contemporary literature. Most of the articles I have contributed to or have created are related to ancient Indian history and its archaeology and Wikipedia is one of the great platforms as I believe to reach out to the audience and enlighten people across the globe about various topics that are otherwise lost to the history.
Further, I am also an amateur photographer and has contributed to the Wiki community various photos that are of archaeological and historical importance.
I am also quite active on Sanskrit Wikipedia and Telugu Wikipedia
