Ang Probinsyano is 1997 Philippine action film by Fernando Poe, Jr. who plays a double role as his twin brother. The film tells the story of a policeman who was betrayed and killed in an encounter by corrupt cops. His twin brother takes his place to investigate the truth about his brother's death. The film became a box office hit and was followed by the sequel Pagbabalik Ng Probinsyano (1998). The film was remade as a TV series starring Coco Martin in the leading role.[1]
