Thomas Buberl (born 24 March 1973) is a German businessman, who succeeded Henri de Castries as CEO of AXA on 1 September 2016.

Thomas Buberl was born in Cologne, Germany.[1]

Buberl has a degree from WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany, an MBA from Lancaster University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.[2]

In March 2016, Buberl was announced as the next CEO of AXA.[3]
