Taiga Fujimura (藤村 大河, Fujimura Taiga) is a fictional character from the Japanese visual novel and anime series Fate/stay night by TYPE-MOON.

Taiga is an English teacher at Shirō's school and the supervising teacher for the archery club. She is widely called "Tiger," ("Taiga" and "Tiger" are homophones in Japanese), a nickname she dislikes. The voice acting for Taiga is done by Miki Itou.

She is rather close to Shirō and regards him as a younger brother. With the loss of his family and then adoptive father, Taiga soon became his guardian and has lived with him for several years. She is bright and cheerful, though is also quite clumsy and irresponsible. Taiga is dependable and always ready to offer good advice, especially concerning Shirō's personal relationships. While kind, she tends to be protective and short-tempered.

Taiga cannot cook; she is always found at Shirō's house at meal time to eat food made by Sakura Matō. As a result, Taiga has developed a high opinion of Sakura and openly hopes that Shirō and Sakura become a couple. Taiga has a lesser opinion of Saber and merely tolerates her presence, though Taiga trusts Saber will protect Shirō as well.

She proudly claims to be an expert Kendoka (Kendo practitioner); she considers those who are stronger than her are worth her respect. In the anime series, she also owns and maintains a motorcycle.

Little is known about Taiga's personal history, other than her father was the leader of a Yakuza group.

Role

Taiga serves as comic relief throughout the story. Her only relevant action takes place at the end of Fate, where she adopts Ilya.
