Notability and other issues

I can see no evidence of personal notability in this article. The author and most prominent editor has twice removed tags placed on the article. It seems abundantly clear that this editor has a clear conflict of interest and is crediting the subject (himself?) with achievements that are clearly that of a team. Claims that the latest addition proves notability wholly misrepresents Wikipedia notability, The ref is an interview in which the subject is quoted - not a reference about the subject himself. At present this is a risk of AfD unless some real evidence of notability is provided.  Velella  Velella Talk   01:10, 14 February 2017 (UTC) All news references (CNN, Washington Post, US Today, LA Times, Popular Science, etc.) refer to interviews and quotes, compatible with the Wikipedia guidelines, and are not references of the subject himself as claimed.[reply]
