Carriage house - thanks!

I had carriage house on my short list of articles to write, but I never got around to it. As a carriage house owner I thank you for writing up this style of building. Now when people don't understand when I say I have a carriage house, I can just send them to Wikipedia. :) White 720 00:19, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Course Article

Hey! I updated my diagram for Course (architecture) based on your description of the course style, so hopefully it's correct. (If it isn't let me know!) Thanks for the tip! - Campanile 12:49, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

calling for tenders... can you take a look at the talk page for Roof and the above article and make comments/suggestions? I'm planning on deleting that part which I have transferred. Amandajm 21:00, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Systematic Layout Planning

I'm writing an article on SLP and was wondering if you could provide some insight on it. I'm in the early stages for this article and any help would be appreciated. Jjpo0903 19:37, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Architecture

Hello, I notice you are a fellow sufferer architect.
I wonder if I might trouble you to read this little section on a friend's page about improving the architecture article? I think really what's needed is some input to get a good heading structure, after which I'm fairly confident the article will pretty much write itself - any news, views or opinions? --Joopercoopers (talk) 15:39, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jooperscoopers: You asked for my thoughts on this. Personally, I think the "seven lamps" is a little esoteric as a framework for a Wikipedia article on architecture. I don't think anyone has ever really improved on Sir Henry Wotton's 1624 paraphrase of Vitruvius: firmness, commodity, and delight. Everything I can think of appropriate to a Wikipedia article would fit in that framework quite well. Newell Post (talk) 03:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah - did you click the link? I was referring to the Architecture article, not my little stub. I'm looking to get a decent comprehensive structure for the top level article (probably something akin to Law, rather than the rather rambling piecemeal structure that currently exists. Early discussion regarding possible topics for inclusion are at user:Joopercoopers/architecture. Regards --Joopercoopers (talk) 11:59, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Attic, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Rafters and Fans (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File:Uss anacapa docked.jpg missing description details

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 05:03, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Unitarian Universalists of San Mateo, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, no independent sources for the congregation. The building itself is closer to notability than the congregation, but doesn't meet the bar either.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
