Youyi (Chinese: 有懿; pinyin: Yǒuyì; born Iriana Halim ; 11 October 1980) is a Hong Kong-born Singaporean television host and actress.
Early life
Lin was born to an Indonesian Chinese father and a Vietnamese Chinese mother. She has an elder sister, and both of them were educated in Taiwan and Singapore. In Singapore, she was educated in Chung Cheng High School (Main) and Temasek Junior College. Lin graduated from both Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and SIM University (UniSIM) with a Bachelor of Accountancy and BA Translation and Interpretation respectively.
Career
Lin was talent-spotted when she was participated a competition representing Radio Presenter of 88.3 Jia FM with her restaurant, Outpost 903 Gastrobar,[1] and in 2007, she made her acting debut in Esplanade Hua Yi Festival Anniversary Game, and became the presenter for MediaCorp Channel 8 Current Affairs Program - Good Morning Singapore, in 2008. In 2011, Lin made her film debut in Heng or Huat. In 2012, she hosted Starry Starry Night 2012, a mega concert organized by China’s CCTV.
Personal life
Lin announced that she was ending her 2-year marriage during Channel 8 sitcom's, A Blessed Life, press conference on 23 January 2015.[2]
