Syra Yousuf Khan, better known as Syra Shehroz, (Urdu: سائرہ شہروز, ), is a Pakistani model and actress and former VJ who works in Pakistani serials and telefilms. She is best known for her role in Hum TV serial Mera Naseeb (2011).

Career

Originally a model,[1][2] Yousuf started as VJ at MTV Pakistan hosting Bheja Fry and Most Wanted.

She made her acting debut in Hum TV serial Mera Naseeb.[3] In 2012, she appeared in the serial Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay with her husband Shehroz Sabzwari a remake of the Pakistani serial "Tanahaiyan" alongside Marina Khan, Badre Khalil, and Behroze Sabzwari. The next year, she began playing the role of Aleena in Darmiyan. She is currently working in a drama serial Pasheman as Zartaasha with her husband on Express Entertainment.[4]

She played alongside her husband in the 2015 film Love You Babylicious,[5] and was booked to appear in Jawad Bashir's next film, Teri Meri Love Story, opposite Salman Shahid, Mohib Mirza and Mohsin Abbas Haider.[6]

The VJ-turned-actor will be making her film debut in a project by the Hot Water Bottles production house, titled Chalay Thay Sath[7]

Personal life

On 21 October 2012, she married Shehroz Sabzwari, son of actor Behroze Sabzwari in an Islamic wedding ceremony in Karachi.[20]
