2:22 is an American-Australian thriller film directed by Paul Currie and written by Nathan Parker and Todd Stein. The film stars Michiel Huisman, Teresa Palmer and Sam Reid. The film was released in theaters and on VOD on June 30, 2017.[3]

Plot

Dylan Branson (Michiel Huisman) is an air traffic controller who is stuck in an ominous pattern of events that repeats itself in exactly the same manner every day, ending at precisely 2:22 pm. Shortly after being suspended from his job, Dylan falls for Sarah (Teresa Palmer), a beautiful woman whose life is threatened by strange events relating to the moment she was on one of two planes involved in a near miss blamed on Dylan (at 2:22). During their first date, Dylan apologies to Sarah when they realize she was on board one the two planes, but ominously she exclaims that "No, you saved my life!" They begin to fall in love, but as each day passes, Dylan simultaneously is experiencing a serious unexplained events relating to a common pattern happening at precisely 2:22. As the events become more severe, he races to must solve the mystery of 2:22 to preserve a love whose second chance has finally come him.

2:22 was produced by Pandemonium’s Bill Mechanic, Walk The Walk Entertainment’s Steve Hutensky and Lightstream Pictures’ Paul Currie. Garrett Kelleher of Lightstream, David Fountain and Kel West of Flywheel Entertainment and Jackie O’Sullivan served as executive producers. Filming took place in Australia.
