The National Diversity Coalition for Trump was formed in 2016 to demonstrate that presidential candidate Donald Trump had support from people of color.[1] A stated purpose of the Coalition is to recruit, mobilize and support educational efforts in order to elect Trump president. [2] Trump's campaign spokesperson Michael D. Cohen co-founded the Coalition with Darrell C. Scott. in April, 2016.[3]

The Coalition is a volunteer organization which has leaders of from minority communities of religious, business and politics.[4]

Impact

The coalition has been criticized as exploiting diversity and rendering the concept of diversity meaningless.[1]
