Irshad Hussain is a Pakistani chemist and one of the founders of nanotechnology in Pakistan. He is an associate professor of chemistry at Lahore University of Management Sciences and professor in the Faculty of Renewable Energy Engineering of the US–Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy at the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar.[1][2][3][4]
Research
The focus of his research is on the synthesis of metal base nanoparticles and nanoclusters for for various applications such as in the field of energy and medicine. His work is marked as foundation for the size and shape controlled synthesis of monodispersed gold nanoparticles.[5]
