The content of the page is absolutely wrong and fake... Rahulkarmakar (talk) 15:26, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, if you feel the content of the page is incorrect please add to it by citing reliable sources. Removing most of the content and attempting to redirect the page to an external link[1] is unhelpful –72 (talk) 15:29, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Page mover granted

Hello, 72. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, and move subpages when moving the parent page(s).

Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Alex ShihTalk 00:56, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you did make a mistake. I was trying to move DONG Energy to Ørsted. Instead I had to choose Ørsted Energy even though that is not the name of the company. ESCSamuel (talk) 09:48, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I didn't make any mistake. Moving a page by blanking another is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits page history. Your subsequent move is, in my view, premature. The company doesn't appear to have changed name, rather only announced their desire to do so [2]. Regarding moving a page over an existing redirect, this must be requested at WP:RM, since the action is restricted to administrators. –72 (talk) 10:00, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

The range I blocked is 121.54.32.0/24. I don't know how long that will hold them, but that knowledge should probably exist somewhere other than my head and I don't know where best to put it so I'm telling you. :) AIV is only set up for whack-a-mole so it's always best to report things that need deeper investigation to ANI as well—the only reason I looked deeper here is that I happened to block two of the IPs and was narrowly beaten to the third by another admin. If you'd got three completely different admins it's possible nobody would have noticed. All the best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 10:17, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the rangeblock, the range looks to have a long-ish history. I'm unfortunately very familar with this self-appointed "LTA". Zzuuzz, who is also familiar with this appears to have modified the existing abuse filter (859) in the meantime. I guess I'm used to AIV, so thanks also for the pointer regarding ANI. MRY sure is a fast-paced vandal. 72 (talk) 10:25, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
