Pushkar Films is an Indian film production company based in Karnataka as part of the Kannada film industry. The company was launched by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah in 2015. Pushkar Films has since produced many successful movies. Pushkar Films has established ties with other companies like Paramvah Studios to co-operate in the field of film production.
History
Pushkar Films debuted in film production in 2014 in Kannada film industry by producing Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu directed by Hemanth Rao. The film jointly produced by Pushkar Films and Lost & Found Films was a critical and commercial success. It collected an estimated sum close to ₹15 crore at the box office, and which is all-time top 3 highest grossing Kannada movie in terms of overseas collection. Their next project was Kirik Party, where the Pushkar Films bought a stake of 30%, was yet another blockbuster. The film was released in 2016, this movie created a history of becoming 2nd highest profitable movie in Kannada cinema with a near turnover of more than 50 crores.
Upcoming projects
As of May 2017, Pushkar Films has announced their next project Humble Politician Nograj directed by Saad Khan, starring Danish Sait in the lead. The movie is scheduled to release in the October of 2017. Their upcoming film is Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja in association with Paramvah Studios and Lost and Found Films, directed by Karthik Saragur, starring Aravinnd Iyer.
