Pingu in the City is a Japanese computer-animated television series. It is based on the original stop-motion series Pingu that aired from 1986 to 2006. The series premiered in Japan on October 7th, 2017.

Premise

The series is adapted from the famous British-Swiss cartoon Pingu created in 1986 by Otmar Gutmann. In the series, the Pingu family move from their home to a large city, where the inhabitants are all very different. They try to find a job and adapt to their new life.

Production

The series was produced by Japanese studio Polygon Pictures.
