Baghdad Mall (Arabic: بغداد مول) is a multi-purpose building consisting of a shopping mall, a hotel and a hospital.[2] The mall is located in Harthiya, Baghdad, Iraq and is considered the largest shopping mall in Baghdad.[3][4]
The multi-level shopping mall currently features over 100 retail outlets, 1000 parking spaces, and contains dozens of restaurants and cafes.
Baghdad Mall opened on August 28, 2017.[5] Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi attended the opening ceremony,[6] which was hosted by Iraqi poet Shahad al-Shamary, and the ceremony featured musical guests such as Dalli, Hussam al-Rassam, Diana Karazon, and Hussein el-Deik.[7][8]
Description
The mall is vver 80,000 square metres (860,000 sq ft) featuring 32 floors including a 250 room luxury hotel as well as a medical center with 30 specialized clinics.[2]
Rayhaan Rotana Hotel
Rayhaan Rotana is a 32-storey hotel and it is part of the Rotana Hotel Management. The hotel has 241 rooms.[9]
Dublin Health Medical Center
Managed by Dublin Health Services, the medical center includes 30 specialized clinics.[10][11]
