Lead paragraph
I've added a few sentences to the lead paragraph which summarize the key contents of the article, which I think should be sufficient to remove the warning tag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carnival Honey (talk • contribs) 16:41, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
1960's vs. 1960s
User: Icarus of Old, 1960's is incorrect. 1960s is correct. You can look it up in a second on Google. Please stop reverting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carnival Honey (talk • contribs) 18:22, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
Icarus of Old continues to revert my edits of "1960s" to "1960's." Here, 1960s refers to the decade of the 1960s, not to the year 1960, so the apostrophe is incorrect. See the comments in this grammar article called "Common Mistakes." http://www.lssu.edu/faculty/lrivers/faqs/common_mistakes.htm Carnival Honey (talk) 15:19, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
Movie genre
I've edited the genre from "horror-thriller" to "comedy". Despite having witches in it, the movie is barely a horror movie at all. It doesn't intend to scare, and has little to none thriller element. It's actually closer to an erotic comedy than anything else. Keeping "horror-thriller" is fully misleading. Plus IMDB acknowledges the comedy part. talking Cherry 21:57, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
- The genre has been reverted to "horror-thriller" citing "most reviews" and the director. I'm switching it back to "comedy horror" based on the following :
- The IMDB page classifies the film with "Comedy", "Horror", "Romance"
- What the directors says about the movie genre isn't relevant or reliable.
Remember, Tommy Wiseau now pretends that The Room was intended to be a comedy and not a "so bad it's good" movie. Being the director doesn't make him right. - I've actually seen the movie. It's nowhere near what you would usually classify as "horror". It's homage to 60-70s movies, like Suspiria, but labelling it thriller or horror is fully misleading.
- The users reviews on IMDB demonstrate that other of people that did watch the film do not think it is horror at all. Search for "horror" or "comedy" in the comments, you'll find people questioning the movie genre. Including some saying that's it an erotic movie, which can surely be argued.
- Here's to quotations from the IMDB reviews :
- "It's not a horror movie. It's not a comedy. It's a complete waste of time."
- Labeled as a horror comedy, I somehow failed to see the horror aspect of "The Love Witch".
