Il Medonte or just "Medonte"

Is the opera's correct title "Il Medonte" or just "Medonte"? The new CD recording uses the title "Medonte". This article uses the "Il". What's correct? 81.62.101.226 (talk) 15:13, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
