Hpnotiq ready to serve

Hpnotiq is a 35 proof French fruit liqueur made from vodka, cognac, and tropical fruit juices. It is available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden (since April 1st 2006), Australia and Japan. The color of the drink is currently blue, but in the past it had a green tint.

The brand was originally launched in September 2001 by a company called Wingard.[1]

Though Hpnotiq rarely advertises in the United States, recent exposure via hip-hop culture helps attract the target market of 16-35 year-olds. For those with stiffer needs, Hpnotiq can be mixed with more cognac to make the drink Incredible Hulk. This is a very popular club drink. Recently (Summer 2006), Hpnotiq has started advertising in the US, targeting African-Americans.

There are also several other drinks that can be made with Hpnotiq. Most are simply mixtures with common alcohols and/or drink mixes.

Famed rapper Kyle "Lyle Chef" Cook is a celebrity endorsor of Hpnotiq.
