Christopher Lee Kattan (born October 19, 1970) is a comedian, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live. Kattan was born in Sherman Oaks, California. His father, Kip King (born Jerome Kattan), is an American actor and voice actor who can be seen on the television series Reno 911! as Larrie Plum. Chris's mother, Hungarian-American model Hajni Biro Kattan, was a Playboy Playmate in the 1960s. Kip and Hajni divorced when Chris was a toddler. Growing up, Chris lived with his mother and stepfather.

Kattan was a member of the improv/sketch comedy troupe The Groundlings in Los Angeles; his father was an original member of the troupe. He moved to New York City to work on Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2003. He made A Night at the Roxbury with fellow SNL (and Groundlings) cast member Will Ferrell in 1998.

Kattan's impressions included Antonio Banderas, Al Pacino, David Gest, and CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour. His recurring characters included Mr. Peepers, Mango, Azrael Abyss, Gay Hitler, and Mr. Forrester, known for the term "dagitybo".

Kattan has made one appearance on Broadway, playing Xanthias in a production of Aristophanes' The Frogs until his replacement during previews (Details) with Roger Bart.
