Steve Miner (born June 18 1951 in Westport, Connecticut) is best known as a film and television director.

Television programs Miner has directed include The Wonder Years, Jake 2.0, Felicity, Dawson's Creek (including the pilot and four of the other episodes of the first season), and Diagnosis Murder.In Cinema,he is best known for directing Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and Lake Placid.

Miner is currently set to direct Day of the Dead, a remake to the George Romero classic of the same name.
