ArbCom 2018 election voter message
Hello, Into the Rift. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Mysterious IP issuing AFD notifications
You wouldn't know anything about 96.253.25.35 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) would you? It's been notifying editors -- specifically those editors who !voted "keep" in previous similar AFDs -- of a number of AFDs it has not itself !voted in, but in which you have !voted "keep", which is ... weird; it also notified me of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chiyo Miyako (2nd nomination), which you hadn't !voted in, but that AFD also closed within half an hour of its beginning the notifications. That's not my IP if someone is canvassing then you should probably just ignore it. Into the Rift (talk) 14:42, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
I just looked up that IP and it looks like it's from Rhode Island I'm from Oregon. Into the Rift (talk) 14:48, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Look I don't know who that person is or what they said but that is not my account I think you may have made a mistake. Into the Rift (talk) 15:30, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
- Then I refer you yet again to the above message. I would not have made this block without a high degree of confidence and foreseeing "it wasn't me". -- zzuuzz (talk) 15:33, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
