64-bit: Which Windows was first?

This article claims that the first Windows to actually be released with 64-bit support were two shortly released OEM Limited Editions of Windows .NET Server (later known as Windows 2003 Server), released in 2002, citing this source[1] which officially gives July, 2002 as the release date (however, this source[2] linked in this talkpage's archive claims the release date for that version was even December, 2001).

However, 64-bit computing#64-bit operating system timeline claims that the first 64-bit version of Windows was XP back in 2001. Using this[3] as a source, Windows XP editions#Windows XP 64-Bit Edition names Windows XP (Home) 64-Bit Edition for Itanium systems (based on the genuine XP code) as the first, which was originally released in October, 2001. --46.93.158.170 (talk) 18:36, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
