Todd Owen Cantwell (born 27 February 1998) is an English footballer who plays for Norwich City.

Club career

Cantwell is from Dereham, Norfolk, England. He attended Northgate High School.[2] Cantwell joined the Norwich Academy aged 10, and in July 2014, Cantwell made his debut for England U-17 against Iceland U-17.[3] Cantwell was shortlisted for the Premier League Two player of the season award for the 2016-17 season.[4] In October 2017, Cantwell was named as a substitute for two Norwich City matches, but did not make an appearance.[4] Cantwell made his senior debut in January 2018 in an FA Cup match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.[2][5] In the same month, Cantwell was loaned to Fortuna Sittard for the rest of the season.[6]

Cantwell made his first start for Norwich City in the team's first round EFL Cup match against Stevenage on 14 August 2018.[7] He made his Norwich City league debut in September 2018 against Reading.[8] In December 2018, Cantwell scored his first senior goal in a 3-1 victory over Rotherham United.As it stands there is no major song for Cantwell other than the infamous “he’s one of our own”. Maybe someone creative could make one.[9]
