Duane Lundy is a record producer and guitarist, and the owner of Shangri-la Productions in Lexington, Kentucky.

Career

[edit]

After years as a touring band guitarist, Lundy began to explore recording and engineering music.[1] In 2006, Lundy expanded from an elaborate home studio, opening Shangri-la Productions with "vintage and state-of-the-art equipment."[2]

Lundy has collaborated with fellow producers including Stephen Trask, Jim James, and Eddie Kramer.[3] He has recorded and produced bands and singer-songwriters such as Sunday Valley (Sturgill Simpson),[4][5][6] Vandaveer,[7] These United States, Ben Sollee, Freekbass,[8] The Apparations, JoAnna James, Mike Mangione,[9] Joe Pug, Johnny Bennett,[10] Emily Hagihara, Stacy Rock,[11] The Bosch,[12] The Scourge of the Sea, Chloe Charles, and Dawn Landes.

Lundy also plays guitar in the rock band Chico Fellini, whose debut self-titled CD was named Album of the Year by the Editor-in-Chief of Redefine Magazine.[13]
